Although she has finished doing her interviews a few weeks ago, Marjorie graciously offered do an interview with me, when she stopped by to post her appreciation for her fans on her page this week, at first I couldn’t believe it was actually her, I was literally freaking out. It turned out it was really her and then I got even more excited, just a wow moment. So thankful for this wonderful opportunity because who wouldn’t want to talk to Marjorie, one of the most naturally talented and intelligent girls the show has ever had. Major things are going to happen to her for sure.

The interview is e-chatted, so if it feels like she typed her answers herself, it’s because she did.

Here’s our quick chat we had today. Enjoy!

What are your feelings about Mckey winning? Do you feel as if you were robbed?
I don’t feel as though I’ve been robbed, not one bit! I was tremendously lucky to have made it as far as I did. Mckey is possibly the most photogenic person I have ever encountered. Great composure to boot. I have no qualms about her winning. I wish her all the best.

Are you in talk with signing with any agencies?
I actually have to wait a week or so before signing with any agencies.

What do you think of Tyra?
Tyra is a remarkably professional media mogul who definitely makes success look easy.

Where do you plan on modeling?
If I am signed, I would love to model in New York or overseas.

Do you have a myspace or facebook?
I don’t have a myspace or facebook, but I may start one. I haven’t decided yet.

How would you describe your friendship with Analeigh?
My friendship with Analeigh is complex and valuable. I can’t say that I have been as close to someone before, and learning to trust an individual on a new level has certainly made me mature. That being said, I know Analeigh does not understand me completely, and that is a tough thing to expect out of a person. For example, she views me as cynical when that descriptor is not part of my self-concept. Our thoughts or philosophies may not always be synchronized, but our good intentions for one another are.

Do you still keep in contact with any of the other girls?
I have found a friendship in Elina as well, and I relate to her in a different way. We share a complicity from our origins and the way we tend to butt heads with the Manifest Destiny approach. She has a critical eye and rejects (to a certain extent, of course) the definitions of the world that she has inherited. We both prefer things to be painted in shades of gray.

Why did you decide to go back to blonde?
My makeover was done mostly for the sake of a change rather than to highlight my features. Being blonde, at least for the moment, is a fun phase that hasn’t quite finished its run.

How tall are you?
I am exactly 5′11″.

There have been rumors that you are going to be in an A&F ad, is it true?
No, I have no idea how that Abercrombie & Fitch ad rumor got started…

You’ve seen the other past cycles of ANTM, who would be some of your favorite contestants?
I really liked Elyse Sewell from cycle 1, Victoria from cycle 9, and Marvita from cycle 10.

What’s been keeping you busy since ANTM stopped filming?
Right now, I’m opting to let things settle a little bit before regaining momentum. I am trying to tie the loose ends from my spring semester and finish editing my short film. I am probably going to look into options within San Francisco’s insular fashion industry. I also have a great relationship with my boyfriend Cameron, who I started dating after the show, so that has been taking up my time as well.

What would you like to pursue after you’re done modeling?
Working behind the camera is my ultimate goal.

What type of music are you into? Any favorite bands?
In terms of music, I tend to go for the 1980s underground post-punk sound, but not exclusively. I like, in no particular order, Joy Division, The Damned, Cocteau Twins, Brian Eno, Green On Red, Why?, Brother Reade, Devandra Banhart, Clouddead, Metal Fingers, Bad Dudes, Sibylle Baier, Hot Chip, Animal Collective, etc.

Any favorite movies too?
I have loads of favorite films. Recently I’ve been re-watching Sans Soleil, Women In Love, The Last Mistress, and Synecdoche, New York.

Do you stick to any specific diet?
I was probably the only girl in the house without a diet or exercise regimen.

How did you come up with your signature pose?
My signature pose was simply an accentuation of my natural slouch combined with an emotive face. It complimented my on-screen demeanor. I made sure to stay in character.

In your other interviews you said you used film references for your photoshoots, what would some of those films be?
I’ll go in order of the shoots:
Immigration & Voting: I thought of Emily Watson in “Breaking the Waves,” crossed with Bjork in “Dancer in the Dark,” with a tad of Shalom Harlow and Liane Balaban in “Happy Here and Now.” The objective was to compound fear, wonderment, innocence, and a touch of (foreign) mystery.
Hot Air Balloon: Anita Ekberg in “La Dolce Vita” and Corinne Marchand in “Cleo from 5 to 7″ for their sheer, breathtaking elegance
Swimsuit: Ludivine Sagnier in “Swimming Pool” and a younger Charlotte Rampling
Eyes: Kyra Schon in “Night of the Living Dead”
Natural Disaster: Allison Hayes in “Attack of the Fifty Foot Woman”
Awards Ceremony: Giulietta Masina in “Nights of Cabiria” for her humor and expressiveness
Ship: Oddly enough, Grace Zabriskie in “Wild at Heart”
Dramatic: Annie Lennox crossed with Eve in “The Fifth Element” and Daryl Hannah in “Blade Runner”
Natural: Marie-Josee Croze in “The Barbarian Invasions”
Windmills: David Bowie in “The Man who Fell to Earth”

How do you deal with criticism?
I tend to internalize negative feedback and react later in solitude. I need to vent somehow to throw it behind me.

In my interview with Sheena, she called you fake and condscending, do you have anything to say to that?
It does not surprise me that she would say that, but her words stem from an innate misunderstanding. She is convinced that I (and Analeigh) have spoken ill of her behind her back throughout the majority of the competition. That is not the case. I only reacted when she provoked me, and chose to decompress with those who shared my frustration. I felt I had to tiptoe around her a good deal, but other than that, I realize that we met in a competitive setting. I am positive that I could get along with her outside of it. I do not hold grudges, and I hope that she will eventually let go of hers.

What do you think was your biggest strength you had on top model?
I think my biggest strength was my ability to convey a variety of emotions through a still image. I tried to be an open book in front of the lens.
