My Exclusive Interview with Sheena!

Today I got the wonderful pleasure of interviewing Sheena Satana. She is too sweet and just all around awesome. By the way, it’s her birthday today, she turned 22!

How do you deal with the criticism you’ve gotten?
I acknowledge it but never take it personally because I love and accept who I am at the end of the day.
What was the best modeling thing you learned from top model?
That I make good TV ratings prove it and I’m suited for glamour modeling which is what I’ve always wanted to do. There’s also way more money in that field.
You were compared to Kimora. Do you take that as a compliment?
Definitely! I love Kimora I think she’s a great person. People just compare people to those their familiar with and in the urban community especially because it’s someone they can identify with.
Do you feel as if you should have stayed over Elina?
No I feel like it was time for them to focus on the high fashion girls because it was getting so close to the end. It was time to let the entertainer go.
What did you think of your makeover?
At first I was ok with the makeover but when I got home and took it out I realized how bad the damage was and then hated it! Seriously I had a Bart Simpson spike and mullet. They really wanted to de-sexafy me and it worked a little….
Who was your favorite judge?
Ms.Jay and Nigel. They knew the deal and Ms. Jay and I had soo much fun together, but they rarely showed that. Paulina isn’t so bad she’s just honest
What do you think about Mr. Jay? Does he really help during the photo shoots?
Mr. Jay is really cool. He just has to do his job. He’s very insightful and knows the business. One thing I didn’t like was my last shoot on the ship…the photographer had told me to straddle the beam and that’s when Mr. Jay and the photographer were disagreeing but he made it seem as if it was my own doing. What was I suppose to do say no? As a model you have to do what you’re told and execute their vision. Photographer also said to grab the rope and stay low.
What made you think Hannah was discriminating against the ethnic girls?
When you’re around someone physically you can feel their energy and sense things. With Hannah she made a lot of interesting faces and the eyes tell all. I was observant the whole time and surprised at how they made it seem like I was so involved. Brittney and Joslyn had more of a concern with her. I said something to her once and I was done.
Who do you think was your biggest competitor?
Honestly I know it’s a competition but it’s really a show. Your competing against something much bigger. Your image.
What do you think about Clark calling you trashy and classless? Because I personally think you have so much more class than her.
Thank you babe! True story: In the house Clark took my body wash and used half the bottle for a bubble bath with LB. I smelled it and confronted her about it and she denied it until Lauren B gave her away. Don’t use people things without permission its common sense. She’s probably bitter that she couldn’t get away with it. Also we were all surprised at how many negative remarks she had because in the house she would be so quiet and nice and be everyone’s friend. Not once has she ignored me or showed me she dislikes me. Also she had the nerve to call me to let me know she was in NYC. Lol I’m showing you around since you think your so much better than people.
Do you still find Lauren Brie bland?
No, LB is a great person. Its TV. LB is real! I’m so sad I forgot to at least hug her my adrenaline took over
Which girls didn’t you like?
I like them all except for Clark! Oops and Marjorie too.
What things did Marjorie do to make you dislike her?
She was very Bipolar. I found her to be very condescending and fake. She has nerves and gets on mine…
I didn’t like how she was about you in those bonus clips.
Yeah exactly but before she praises me and kisses my derriere. I was really hurt by her true feelings. The girl got issues. Elina is way better .I love her. She actually had a crush on me too no joke but i had a BF so she backed off. It was really Marjorie who I disliked. Elina is honest and is much more tolerable. We always liked each other but know that our opinions keep us apart.
What do you think of Analeigh?
Not my favorite. The too sweet thing gets outta control. Not everything is what it seems.
How did you get into modeling?
As a child, I use to do a lot of runway for my height. I also use to teach modeling believe it or not as a junior instructor when I was 15. I was scouted and it went from there.
What’s your exact height?
I’m 5′10” and 130lb and loving it!
What are your career goals?
I am an entertainer. I would love to be in more film make music and perform. I also would like to have my own show following me and my growth. Do some glamour modeling. I just want to have my own entity and have more Asian American presence in the media.
Who are your favorite contestants on ANTM?
I love Naima, Dani, Bre and Mckey. Oh Joanie was cool too.

Do you plan on coming out with another album?
Yes definitely. It would be so different. It takes so much time though
What do you think of Tyra Banks?
What you see is what you get. She loves the spotlight.
Who are you rooting for to win?
Mckey should win or I’m never watching cycle 12.
Do you have any regrets for top model?
No regrets. I did my thing aint no denying!
So you’re fine with your edit?
For the most part yea but the dance scene at the dinner table was edited wrong, the girls asked me to get up and show them moves at first I said no but they kept pursuing me. Remember they only showed a component of my personality. They way I am with my friends and being silly and tough. There’s so much more to me. More to come. Its all about the art of perception. 1. How others see you, 2.How you see yourself and 3. who you really are. Figure those things out and you’ll be alright.
What are you favorite songs?
I love listening to Honey by Erykah Badu and Greenlight by John Legend are my two favorite songs ever for this month!
Do you have any last words for your fans?
Everything I do is for the fans. I dedicate all my pursuits to you all. You don’t even understand how overwhelmed and inspired I am to know that I make ya’ll happy. I want to help people and stand up against all that’s wrong. I love you all and know that I read and know exactly who you are.
